I don’t listen to Against Me (although I did like that song they did with Tegan Quin), but I’m so happy for Laura. :)so this beautiful & talented human being just recently shared publicly that she’s a trans woman
(I want to emphasize that we shouldn’t like, say she just “came out” because we don’t know where she places her “coming out” in her experience)
can we all just take a moment to talk about how talented & beautiful she is & how happy we should all be that she’s moving into a public presentation that’s more comfortable for her?
*DANCES*
also, something to think about: big queer beauty goes out into the world—Maurice Sendak—more big queer beauty becomes visible in Laura Jane Grace. all goes onward and outward, nothing collapses!
THE WORLD IS AWESOME
QUEER&TRANS PEOPLE ARE AWESOME
ART IS AWESOME
bold mine. this makes me happy on a day of sadness (i’m north carolinian.)
Mmmm, sexy
Laura is so incredibly brave. Especially considering how the Against Me! fanbase has turned against the band before.
